Permitting
A building permit must be obtained from the proper municipality for any construction work to take place, including awning installation and in many cases awning recovering. The specific permitting requirements differ depending on the city, scope, and type of project.
The permitting process timeframe can also vary greatly from project to project, often taking several weeks. However, a permit MUST be obtained, before any fabrication or installation work can begin if your local government requires it. This is why our permitting managers coordinate with our sales team, designers, engineers, production and installation managers to gather all of the necessary paperwork and maintain a close working relationship with all South Florida municipality’s building departments.
